Question by Confused909: My guy friend says i’m like a “little sister” but sends me mixed signals! WARNING!! This is a long one!?
Ok… where to begin? So this friend of mine and I met at work. We would take our breaks together and walk around the building, and have conversations about EVERYTHING. I left the company for another opportunity, and we maybe sent 2 emails in a 1 month period. The company does a mass layoff, and unfortunately he was one of them. I find out, and get in contact with him for support.
Scenario #1: We go out for drinks with some old coworkers one night after work. He is flirting with me, hugging on me, asking me to dance… the whole shebang. That night, he says he doesn’t want to drive home (he had too much to drink)… and asked to stay at my house. I had no problem with it, I have an air mattress and a large living room. As we are going to the car, he gives me like 3 quick pecks on my mouth. I was a bit confused. So I bring him to my house, set up the air mattress, and start getting ready to go to sleep. He asks me to watch a movie with him. Then he insists that we “cuddle” and asks me to rub his back, run my fingers thru his hair, etc… Finally, I’m ready to go to sleep, and I go to go into my room, and he asks me to sleep next to him. I said ok, but again I was super confused. The whole night, he snuggled next to me, if I rolled over, he did too. The next morning, I make breakfast, we eat, he goes home. We talk and text every day after this.
Scenario #2:
2 days after the unexpected “cuddle fest”, he calls me and says he is coming over and wanted to hang out. We ordered Pizza, then he insists that we go out. So we go hang out, go back to my house, and hang out in my room talking for HOURS. By this time I’m assuming he has decided to sleep over. He changes, and lays in my bed. Again, insists on the cuddling the whole time. He tells me that I am amazing, that I am a great listener, I’m such a sweetheart, I’m fun to be around, etc… then starts talking about he wants to settle down, start a family, etc but he hasn’t found the right girl. So I ask him what he looks for in that “right girl”… he names off EVERYTHING he told me, then says “and she always has to look sexy”… lol So again with the snuggle fest. The next morning, we wake up, and get ready for a friends daughters bday party. We were going to go together. He gets directions while I’m getting ready, we stop and get some water/gatorade for the drive, etc… like a COUPLE… little things he does… hints that he just enjoys the “comfort of being with me”? I guess… So we go to the party, then head back to a friends house. He tells me “you’re like my little sister”… in the midst of one of our hilarious conversations. I just brush it off, dont want to have him think i was expecting more. That night, I went home and he stayed with our friend. Come to find out, he left his wallet in my car so he had to stop by and pick it up on his way home. He gives me the huge hug when he sees me like he hasn’t seen me in months! then goes on his way.
Scenario #4: He calls me about 2am a few days later… he is hanging out with a guy friend. His friend says “hey… he loves you” and I just brush it off. We talk for a while, then get off the phone. He calls me back, and says he is coming over. He comes over, we talk, we cuddle, and he falls asleep. The next morning, I get up for work, and I tell him “hang out as long as you’d like, its no big deal”… I get home 9 hours later to a SPOTLESS HOUSE, my patio outside was swept, my bed was made, and he made me dinner. After we ate, he gives me a huge hug and goes home. ??????
Scenario 5: He has a family emergency, I get a call at 3am… asking me to come to his house. So i drive out there, by the time I get there, things have wound down. I help him make his bed, he lays down, asks me to lay down, and he falls asleep… ?????? So I waited ’till I knew for sure he was out for the night, and I went home. I had work the next morning.
What do I do? Seriously… he says i’m his “little sister”, but litte sisters don’t cuddle, and kiss… I know there’s more to it, but I don’t know for sure how to approach it. I think he knows I’m attracted to him, but I am not sure. HELPPPP!!!!

I don’t know, ask HIM……..tell him if he treats his sister like you, you don’t want to know him anymore.
